Why the CloudHolter Recycle Bin becomes full

Sometimes when a folder is deleted from within the DATA folder, it may not delete permanently, and is instead moved to the Recycle Bin of the Holter device.

The Recycle Bin is not immediately visible when the Bittium Faros CloudHolter drive is open, so over time the Holter Monitor memory will fill up even though the DATA folder may appear to only contain a handful of folders.

You can view available memory on the Holter monitor by Installing the Bittium Faros Manager Software.

To empty the CloudHolter Recycle Bin on Windows 11

(See below for Windows 10 devices)

Please view this quick video walkthrough (no sound) for Windows 11 devices, which follows the steps below:

  1. Plug in your Holter monitor and open the File Explorer from the bottom toolbar of your PC (the folder icon). Ensure Faros Data is highlighted from the list of drives showing on the left side of the window. If you are working within a cloud server, the Holter will most likely appear on your local computer not your server.

  2. Select the 3 dots button which looks like (...) from top toolbar
