CloudHolter is led by Professor Rukshen Weerasooriya, a distinguished cardiologist and subspecialist in cardiac electrophysiology, supported by a dedicated team across clinical, operations, and technology functions. Prof. Weerasooriya plays a pivotal role in delivering detailed reports for CloudHolter's Holter monitor tests.

Based at Hollywood Private Hospital, Prof. Weerasooriya specializes in diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disorders, including atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, SVT, and ventricular tachycardia. He is renowned for his expertise in catheter ablation procedures and the implantation of cardiac rhythm devices such as pacemakers, loop recorders, and defibrillators.

A graduate of the University of Western Australia (UWA), Prof. Weerasooriya completed his cardiology training at Royal Perth Hospital before advancing his skills at the world-leading AF ablation center, Hôpital Cardiologique du Haut Levèque, in Bordeaux, France. Since 2003, he has pioneered catheter ablation treatments for atrial fibrillation in Western Australia, offering cutting-edge solutions, including HyCASA hybrid ablation in collaboration with cardiothoracic surgeons.

In addition to his clinical practice, Prof. Weerasooriya serves as a Clinical Professor of Medicine at UWA and chairs the WA branch of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand. He is actively involved in the patient charity Hearts4Heart and holds a position as a visiting scientist at the prestigious LIRYC Institute in Bordeaux, known for advanced cardiac arrhythmia research.

With a passion for the latest technological advances in heart rhythm care, Prof. Weerasooriya is continuously engaged in international research to improve understanding and treatments for these complex disorders.
