Deleting folders from within the DATA folder

The CloudHolter device has enough memory for approximately thirty 24hr recordings. If the memory gets full it will not be able to record and will show a red X light when attempting to turn it on. To avoid this happening, it is important to ensure there is always plenty of available memory to complete a recording.

We request that you always leave the 6 most recent folders within the DATA folder at all times, to assist our team should we need to troubleshoot with you.

Remember to always take note of the numerical folder name and not the ‘Date Modified’ column. The folder name represents the date the patient was fitted in YYYYMMDD format.

Plug the holter in and open the FAROS_ DATA drive and then open the DATA folder that contains all the dated reading folders. **

  1. Select all the old folders you wish to remove and whilst holding the shift key, press the delete key. A box will pop up confirming you will permanently delete these files. Click YES.

IMPORTANT: If you do not hold the shift key when you press delete, the folders will be moved to the Recycle Bin and continue to take up memory on the holter.

  1. Safely eject the CloudHolter by using the ‘Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media’ tool on your PC, accessed by the ^ icon on the taskbar.
